Throughout the years
1964
Jordan Waring, born into a rich musical legacy, grew up immersed in music as his parents toured Broadway shows nationwide. His father, Fred Waring Jr., a jazz trombonist and musical director for Hair, and his mother, Rachelle Waring, a Grammy-nominated song-writer, exposed him to a world of performance.
1980s
Inspired by his grandfather Fred Waring, a Hollywood Walk of Fame honoree, Jordan began performing in community theater and lounge bands in the 1980s.
1990s
By the mid-1990s, he transitioned to composing classical music, earning international acclaim for his emotionally rich, neo-romantic works. Today, Jordan blends his classical roots with contemporary genres like blues, soul, and jazz, creating accessible, heartfelt music.
